Giving back to the community...with our RDA Partnership

RDA Partnership: The Riding for the Disabled Association

(RDA) is dedicated to improving the lives of the 25,000 disabled people they work with each year.

Riding for the Disabled Association, enriching lives through horses.

Disabled children and adults remain significantly less likely to participate in cultural, leisure and sporting activities than non-disabled people, yet the benefits of such activities have been proven to make significant improvements to an individual’s physical and mental wellbeing – making the work the RDA deliver even more crucial and vital to their beneficiaries.

No other UK charity delivers the work the RDA do. Their activities (including riding and carriage driving, volunteer training, holiday and educational programmes) focus on inclusivity and what each beneficiary ‘can do’ to achieve physical and mental wellbeing, with the end goal of enriching lives and changing futures.

Please find the link to our JustGiving page below, your generosity is greatly appreciated and we hope our RDA Partnership goes someway towards helping:

Impact at a glance...

Research shows that horse riding with RDA delivers physical benefits, boosts confidence, improves communication skills and helps to build relationships. The RDA know their activities support their clients’ education and learning, and that having the opportunity to compete improves confidence in daily life. Each year they build on their knowledge and use the insight from their research to help do more of what they do – and to do it even better.
