Yes! As long as your current surface is contaminant free. All of our fibre surfaces act as a brilliant barrier to the elements on top of sand and rubber.

We only use 100% brand new automotive carpet fibre products. International car manufacturing companies, who specialise in automotive interiors, create this by-product when cutting their carpet fibres for use in their cars – to which previously, this could have been discarded and sent to landfill or incinerated. We do not use any pre-used products therefore we can guarantee our surfaces to be 100% wire, contaminant and even odour free!

Our surfaces are incredibly hard-wearing and can last a decade. Of course this can vary depending on the use and how well it is looked after. Even after this amount of time you won’t need to discard of your surface - a topper would suffice.

In regards to the safe disposal or end of life of our surfaces, we always advise you contact your local authorities for direction. Should you use an external waste disposal company to remove the surface, please ensure they hold relevant permits and documentation and provide you with a Duty of Care document for your records. 

All of our surfaces require very little maintenance, however, regular upkeep will protect and uphold the longevity of the surface and we therefore recommend the following;

• Always manure-pick your surface (manure can impede drainage).
• Lightly harrow your surface and keep it level.
• Although our surface has minimal to no dust, we do recommend a light sprinkling of water in hot conditions to keep it performing at its best.
• Contact Foleys for advice should you be unsure.

Maintenance on your arena will not only keep your surface performing at its optimum but will also protect your horse against injuries by ensuring a level surface.
